School Council

Notice of Elections and UMG School Council Election Meetings 
School Councillors are elected for a 2-year term, to serve on the UMG School Council. This year, three (3) positions become vacant: One (1) Staff representative; two (2) Parent representatives.
If you would like information about the UMG School Council and what its purpose and charter is, consult the UMG web site for details; or speak with one of the current School Councillors.
If you would like to nominate for a position on the UMG School Council, you need to complete an application form (available from the Returning Officer, Mr Phil Guy) and return it before the appropriate closing date.
Separate meetings will take place to elect those Councillors who will serve on the Council for the next two (2) years, beginning at the next UMG School Council Meeting scheduled for 9 October, 2017.

Official Notice of Meetings:            20th July 2017
Nomination Close for both
Teacher and Parent Reps:           23rd August 2017
Meeting to elect Teacher Rep.       6th September 2017 to be held at 3.15 p.m. at UMG 
                                                       State School in conjunction with the regular 
                                                       weekly UMG Staff Meeting.
Meeting to elect Parent Reps     13th September 2017 to be held in conjunction with
                                                       the UMG P&C Meeting in the UMG Performing Arts 
                                                       Complex at 6.30 p.m.
