Throughout the school year various opportunities are given to students to participate in a variety of sporting events.

Term 1

Term 2

Representative School Sport Program

UMG is a member of and participates in the Mt Gravatt District School Sport program. Through both the Mt Gravatt and Metropolitan East School Sport Programs, students at UMG have an opportunity to undertake a representative pathway in a range of sports.

Below is the Pathway for Representative Sport

1. Select to represent UMG at a District Trial

2. Selection in a Mt Gravatt District School Sport Team

3. Selection in a Metropolitan East School Sport Team.

4. Selection in a Queensland School Sport Team.

5. Participation in a National Championship/National Exchange.  

Sporting Schools

UMG is also registered to participate in the Sporting Schools programSporting Schools is Australia’s largest school-based sports participation program to help children foster a lifelong interest in sport, with quality programs developed by over 30 national sporting organisations, it offers a fun and supportive environment for children and coaches.

  • Bike Week

    Bike Week is UMG's celebration of students riding bikes.

  • ROC Race 2019

    What is ROC Race? Inspired by numerous obstacle course events, ROC (Resilience Obstacle Course) Race is our version that encourages students to climb, crawl, balance and slide their way around a course of over 20 obstacles located on our school oval

  • Walk Safely to School

    Walk to School Day is an annual event where students at UMG are encouraged to walk and commute safely to school. It is a community event seeking to promote road safety, health, and the environment.
